How it works
Using bibliographic data from research in user experience
publications indexed in Scopus, a new perspective on the
UX field is gathered.
Thematic Map
Dig deeper into the map by interacting with different clusters. This is a visual method of exploring the relationships between the publications.

Bibliographic Coupling

Starting from the extracted data, we first created a bibliographic coupling network, linking publication sharing at least one common reference.
Cluster Representation

Based on normalized proportions of shared references, publications are gathered into thematic clusters.

Exploring the Map





Do a simple search among the most frequent items of the topics.
Hover over a circle to see its topic label and highlight its links to other topics.
Browse the nature of each topic and subtopic with access to a selection of relevant publications using Google Scholar.
Use the sliders to filter results based on number of publications and similarity.
Broaden or narrow the focus by navigating between topics / subtopics and static / dynamic representations.
Corpus Description
Explore metadata by toggling filters such as keywords, publication sources, authors, language, and more! This is a great tool to get the "big picture" without getting lost in too many details.
